Brothers Pio and Tito Toso were both born in Venice, where they graduated in Architecture in 1998. They have won various architecture and design competitions, like the Good Design Award from the Chicago Athenaeum or the 14th Tercas di Architettura prize. E-candle,
an LED candle obtained from the slotting together of two profiles derived from a single sheet of pre-cut rigid card. The jointing also houses a tiny battery. A contemporary version of the candle, inspired by a particular study of the light present in the paintings by Tintoretto accommodated in this Venetian art gallery, like the featured Adam and Eve.
