This Gallery is situated in Palazzo Abatellis, one of the most significant Catalan-Gothic edifices in Sicily. Since 1953-54, the museum's organisation on a plan by Carlo Scarpa, allows the Galleria to present the development of figurative culture in Sicily from the XII to the XVIII century, with fundamental works by Antonello da Messina, Francesco Laurana e Antoon Van Dyck. www.regione.sicilia.it/beniculturali/palazzoabatellis
